Cocktail Menu ;)

Since my friend Kunal thinks my blog has become more of a menu card now a days... I thought of taking this as a compliment and sharing some of the cocktail and mocktail recipes I learnt so far.
So here it goes...


The first one is a SCREWDRIVER !!!
As the name suggests this drink can act as a screwdriver and loosen the nuts of your brain..! :p


All you need to make this drink is :
45ml vodka, 
120ml fresh orange juice, 
A teaspoon lemon juice 
Some soda if u like your drink fizzy.


Mix the vodka, orange juice and lemon juice in a mixer. Pour the mixture in a glass over lots of ice and add some soda to make your drink more refreshing.


VIRGIN PINA COLADA for some reason has always been my favorite mocktail. Its an easy to make drink and pineapple has never tasted better then it does in this drink.


Ingredients are:
60ml coconut milk
120ml pineapple juice
Soda (optional)


Simply mix the coconut milk and pineapple juice in a mixer. Pour on top of ice, garnish it with a cherry and a slice of pineapple, and a dash of soda to make it fizzy.
To convert this drink into a cocktail just add 45ml of rum to the mixer with the other ingredients.


Long Island Iced Tea, due to a high concentration of alcohol is a very strong drink.


The ingredients are:
15ml Gin
15ml Rum
15ml Tequila
15ml Triple sec
Lemon cordial
Splash of cola or soda


Mix all the ingredients except for soda in a mixer. Pour it in a long glass filled with ice and garnish it with a lemon slice.


"Sex in the City" may have made the COSMOPOLITAN famous, but this cocktail was always cool.




What you need is:
30ml Vodka
15ml Triple Sec
15ml Fresh Lime Juice
15ml Cranberry Juice

Mix all the ingredients and pour it a Martini glass with a strip of orange peel on the rim.


CALIFORNIA SMOOTHIE is a very yummy drink for winters and very simple to make.


All you need is:
1 Banana, peeled and sliced
1 cup Strawberries
1/2 cup Dates
4 1/2 tsp Honey
250 ml Orange Juice


Mix all the ingredients till it becomes smooth and it pour in a long glass filled with ice cubes.


If you like the taste of a MARGARITA, you’ll love this frozen version.


Ingredients:
120ml Tequila
60ml Triple Sec
90ml sweetened Line Juice


Mix all the ingredients in a blender and pour it in a margarita glass over some ice.

She: It's 1 a.m. and just in case you forgot....you have office tomorrow..
He: (irritated) To hell with the office.
She: Oh really! then what are you going to do?
He: Talk to you...What else ?!?
She: We have been talking since two hours...How much more???
He: A little more, (thinking) 10 min..
She: You have been saying that for the past 1 hour now!
He: But this time its final..
She: (smiling) Final, Pakka...Sure???
He: (confused) Ok 15 min..
She: See why can't men stick to one thing??
He: Because women make us so confused..!!!
She: Ya right! pass on the buck...
He: Thats right... My Son papadi!
She: (smiling) Sure!
He: My Kaju ki Barfi !
She: (giggles) What, are you mad..!?!
He: My hot Imaarthi...
She: (sign) Ok, Enough...!
He: My Spicy Raj Kachori !!!
She: (laughing) Ok stop, I am feeling hungry..!
He: I Love You...
She: Good...
He: What good???
She: Kabhi kabhi yeh bhi kar lena chahiye!
He: You are such a bitch..!
She: I thought you loved bitches..!
He: I like wild bitches, not dull ones like you..!
She: You are an asshole..!
He: Atleast I am a clean one!
She: (shrugs) I am not talking to you...
He: Good, so we should sleep then...
She: Your wish..!
He: What my wish...You said you don't want to talk..!
She: You know what..
He: What??
She: Nothing..
He: Say it na..!
She: I love you..
He: Good...
She: What good.??
He: (laughs) Kabhi kabhi yeh bhi kar lena chahiye..!
She: (irritated) Fine, Good night..
He: Good Night...
She: (sighs) Ok!
He: Hmmmm...
She: Hmmmm...
He: (sound of a kiss) Good Night, Sleep tight..
She: You too, Dream about me...
He: (talking to himself) I have better things to do..!
She: What??
He: No, nothing....Good Night..
She: You meet this weekend.....I will kill you..!
He:  Fuck you would be better...
She: See your face in the mirror and go to sleep..!
He: Good night, Love you...
She: Love you too, Bye...

Some broken promises and lots of Happiness...

Life has never promised us anything... 
Nor has god.. 
But some people did... 
Some said they will never leave you... They lied... 
Some said they will love you till death... They also 
lied...
Some said you are the most precious one for 
them...They too lied... 


Life is made of such sweet Lies... All that matters 
is,how you faced the time you finally realized those 
were just lies... 


We may ask "wouldn't life be much better without 
these lies?" 


But the truth is, the times you lived on those big lies 
were the only times you lived...those were the only 
times that brought happiness to our life...Those were
 the only times, that still leave a smile on our face... 

There are things that I can't prove... But I still believe in them...

Like angels and spirit....Like feelings and freedom....And sometimes like LOVE.... 

Like in inner-peace and silence....Like butterflies in the stomach....Like telepathy....Like magic....And like the bond of friendship....

Yes, there are many things I believe in but I can’t prove them. That’s just how life is.  You can’t prove you’re living, you can only prove you’re alive. But living?

Are you living your life, or just, plainly existing on a daily routine that is killing the light that resides in you? Do you stay in a place just because it is comfortable or because there is no where else you’d rather be? Do you do things just because others are expecting you to do or because that’s what you believe in?

Sometimes we get stuck. In comfortable places, but not exciting ones. We do things just because we are used to them, we are too afraid or not motivated to change. 

And what do we believe in? Do we believe in our lives? In our actions? Do we believe in our love or the choices we make? Do we even believe in ourselves?

I believe in many things, but I will never believe in compromise. Not with myself and not with others....
