The unknown me

Vrinda Khanna: My creativity has been running dry these days. These months. This year. So, I’ve been experimenting. One thing that I have been loving is journaling in poetry instead of prose. I’ve always felt like writing prose was never a strength of mine, and while I still feel that way it definitely comes with more of an ease when the goal is not the end product. The goal instead is to write what is on the heart, as if it was a song to God. The goal is the process. When I “force” myself to write in this way, I am engaging my mind from a different perspective, opening up doors that aren’t usually open. I find myself writing lines that I didn’t know were in my head. So here I am, exposing more and hiding less.
